When we encountered Emu oil, yes we thought much like everyone else, why would we use that? After researching Emu oil we decided to start formulating and testing the use of our products with their addition. We first incorporated Emu oil into our Body Butters and Balms. We had to admit, there was just something about that Emu. It seemed to soften the skin in ways that other ingredients could not and with it being so quickly absorbed into the skin we found we had a winner. Our tester proved it's abilities when accidentally burning the facial skin with a tea tree oil that had not been diluted. With a screaming red face we quickly applied Aloe very gel, to no avail, then grabbing the Emu Oil and slathering it all over we were amazed at how quickly the pain subsided and the redness started to fade, by the next morning there was simply no evidence of what had occured. Emu oil had earned a starring role in our Venusia Naturals line and we now offer it pure as well as in blends.

We are very proud of our blends as Emu oil is transdermal and it seems to be the perfect carrier for our oils that one would wish to bring deeper into the layers of skin. Emu oils ability to be crosss the barrier so far seems unparalled by any other carrier oil we have come across.

UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER

We use Unrefined Shea Butter in our Balms and Body butters we also offer plain unrefined Shea butterall by itself, because well Shea Butter is just an amazing product all on it's own.

Unrefined Shea butter is the unprocessed fatty extract from the nut of the Shea tree. Shea is an antoinflammatory and highly moisturizing emmolliant. It is non irritaing and does not clog the pores as many other oils do. Shea is simply amazing in as little as one application you can feel the change beginning in your skin softening and smoothing it just giving it an all around healthy glow.

Shea is now being used widely for those with skin conditions such as eczema, rashes, dry skin, even used to relieve the pain and burn associated with spending too much time in the sun.

We have found endless uses for shea, it not only is good for the skin, but also the hair and nails and lips.

Our Unrefined Shea is imported from Africa and has the most amazing quality to go from a solid state to instantly turning to an oil upon contact with the skin wherein it quickly is absorbed by the skin leaving behind a soft tradiant glow.
